Graphic Gardens is a collection of scarves ordered by the MAD to be given as gifts to the visitors of the he 2018 Cumulus design event. Our creations were later exhibited during the Paris Night of the Museums event (Nuit des musées).
The scarves were available in two different patterns and were inspired by the Winter Cabinet period room at the MAD.
We wanted to give the room’s Second Empire traditional motifs a modern makeover. By applying our motifs on scarves, our goal was to give them a fresh start. We transfered their initial use, that of the static wallpaper, to a mobile one on textile.
